My Letter to the Editor of Maori Pioneer Battalion.

Dear Editor!

Why did you have to send all New Zealand people to war. They could of spent a huge amount of time with there family and friends. They would of had a better chance of living. What if the our people didn't know how to use a gun and they just die straight away. Sometimes things go the wrong way but I truly know that some people, its going to be a big experience for them to see what war is like.

I have been learning much about the Maori Battalion WW1. I have created a Timeline about the Maori Battalion. This timeline tells you short details of what happened in 1914.

This week Room 5 have been learning about the Maori Pioneer Battalion. I have created this poster because it's about a poster that was first sent out into the public for all the men that are over 20 years old, to join the Maori  Pioneer Battalion to go fight in war.
